Nadia’s deep connection to the natural world was shaped during her adventurous childhood in Southern Africa, fostering a profound bond with nature that would later define her creative journey.
Nadia’s career led her to the UK, where she became an award-winning architect, working on prestigious projects, including the Royal Galleries at Buckingham Palace.
In 2017, she moved to Utah, where the striking landscapes offered a powerful reconnection with nature. With time for deep reflection during Covid, she reassessed her career path and life journey, deciding to fill the creative void within and channel her energy into artistic expression.
Her explorations began as a reflective exercise, capturing her memories of Africa, created in the soft pastel realism style she developed in her younger years. From there, her work evolved, shifting toward abstract representations of the breathtaking American Southwest. Organic forms are deconstructed into geometric shapes and re-built in vibrant mosaic-like compositions, to evoke a sense of depth and intrigue.
Creativity, nature, and healthy living are at the heart of Nadia’s being, and she feels deeply aligned with her current artistic journey. In a world increasingly driven by technology and consumerism, she is committed to highlighting the magic of the natural world in a hope to evoke joy, awe, inspiration, calm, and a renewed sense of connection to the world around us, fostering meaningful conversations about our fragile environment and the health benefits of engaging with nature and art.
Recently, Nadia obtained a qualification as an Art Therapy Practitioner, and she looks forward to incorporating this into her work, offering a unique service that bridges the therapeutic potential of creativity with the healing power of nature.
Art is a path of self-discovery for her, and her journey is dedicated to others who are also searching and growing.
She is deeply grateful for your support and encouragement.
